Grant Making Programs

To support non-profits active in the Foundation's service area, remarkable donors have given discretionary funds. This year applications are due on July 1, 2008. Historically, grant awards have been of a variety of amounts from hundreds of dollars to tens of thousands. Grant types include:

• General operating-support for the organization as a whole
• Special program/project-support for a specific activity of the organization that is consistent with its mission
• Capital Expenditure-funds for purchase of, or additions/improvements to, building or equipment
• Start-up costs
• Endowment
• Technical assistance
• Other
