Once you have opened a Donor Advised Fund, you are ready to make grants. A Donor Advised Fund grant can be recommended to any public charity, with a few exceptions. Those exceptions are:
- A grant recommendation cannot fulfill an existing pledge
- You cannot receive a benefit from your grant, such as game or concert tickets or to purchase items at a charity auction
- A grant cannot go to an individual
Outside of these rules, the only limits are your imagination and generosity. You can make grants online through Donor Central using the Login and Password supplied when you opened your fund. Contact us if you forget your Login and Password information.
Alternatively, you may complete our Distribution Recommendation Form and mail it to our office. Call the Foundation’s professional staff if you need assistance.
